Procedure

Grilled Ribeye Steak is a very tasty cut of beef with short preparation time. It marinates awesomely in wine sauce. It is also impeccably suitable and perfect for evening meals on weekdays. Below are the instructions to prepare this delicacy.

Step 1

The first thing to do is to ensure that all the necessary ingredients for the preparation of this recipe are put in place, available, and easily accessible. Prepare your rub by finely mixing the right proportion of salt, pepper, and garlic powder in a bowl. After your rub is appropriately prepared, then you can move on to the next step.

Step 2

Put all the ingredients for the marinade in a big bowl- ½ cup of Worcestershire sauce, finely chopped onion, two cloves of smashed garlic, two sprigs of Rosemary and 1 cup of red wine. Mix it together and put it in a large-sized Ziploc bag. Add the meat too and then close up the bag. Put the Ziploc bag in a bowl or dish and then refrigerate for about 30-45 minutes. We are placing the Ziploc bag in a container in case it leaks.

Step 3

After leaving in the refrigerator for 30-45 minutes, remove and leave for some time. Then try to wipe the steak dry with some paper towels. After you have succeeded in drying the steak, sprinkle a lot of rub on it such that all areas of the meat are covered completely. You can roll in the rub instead of sprinkling.

Step 4

It is time to use the grill. If you’re a grill newbie, you can find good suggestions from our friends at Outdoor Cooking Pros. I’ll recommend you preheat your grill before making use of it. This helps maintain the heat even when the grill is opened. Put your meat directly on the heat for about three to four minutes and then flip to the other side and do the same for another two minutes.

Check the thermometer reading of the grill to see if it is well prepared. If not, you will have to put your steak on the indirect part of the grill for some more cooking and close the grill. It shouldn’t take too long. About roughly three minutes. So don’t go too far when you place it there.

Step 5

Remove your grilled steak from the grill and place it on a pan. Leave to rest for about 10 minutes. This is to allow all the juices in the steak cool off to bring out the taste appropriately. Then cut into six slices or any number of slices depending on the number of servings. Then serve and enjoy.
